Just Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus is sixteen years old now, and coming off an amazing year in which her name turned many products straight into gold. Of course everyone is familiar with just how hot Hannah Montana tickets were this year. If you could even find one, you would have paid top dollar to attend one of Miley’s shows.

Then with the launch of Breakout, Miley Cyrus herself emerged as a sales star. As a solo star and Disney product, Cyrus helped pushed product to tweens.

Miley was by far the biggest seller on eBay this year, crushing such competitors as the Jonas Brothers and High School Musical.

“When someone or something excites the American public, you immediately see a surge of related listings pop up on eBay,” stated Karen Bard who is eBay’s pop culture expert.

All told, nearly one quarter million Hannah Montana items exchange hands on EBay last year.

Miley Cyrus is the reigning champ of sales for 2008.
